Environmental Policy Climate Policy 

INDURA will contribute to the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals and assist Denmark in becoming CO2-neutral by 2050.

Our environmental and climate policy sets the framework for INDURA's efforts to minimize our overall environmental impacts. 

We are responsible for reducing our own emissions and ensuring that our deliveries and transportation of products are carried out with consideration for the environment. However, the largest environmental burden comes from the goods we sell.

Therefore, we focus on ensuring that our products are produced and handled in an environmentally and climate-friendly manner. We continuously work on a green transition by implementing measures that can create transparency in our efforts for environmental and climate improvements - both within our direct impact, our suppliers' impact, and that of our suppliers.

We will meet the growing expectations for sustainability from our customers, who are end customers in the value chain, by influencing the producers and thereby driving positive change in the environmental field. As a supplier, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to drive development that can positively impact the entire value chain in the long term.

1. Reduction of CO2 emissions: We will promote transparency regarding the CO2 emissions from our steel products and strive to continuously reduce this emissions. We will collaborate with our suppliers and producers to identify and implement innovative methods to reduce emissions throughout the supply chain. Specific targets will be set to reduce emissions in Scope 1 (direct), Scope 2 (indirect), and Scope 3 (supplier emissions) to work towards a decrease in our overall climate impact.
   
   
2. Protection of the environment: We will actively work to minimize any negative impact on the environment in our daily operations and at our locations. This includes preventing pollution, effective resource utilization, and waste management, as well as recommending sustainable production methods to the producers we use. We will invest in and support initiatives that promote recycling, reuse, and circular economic principles.
   
   
3. Employee Engagement: We will engage and educate our employees in our environmental goals and initiatives to ensure that everyone in our organization understands their role and contribution to our environmental objectives. We will encourage idea generation and actively involve and consult our team to promote sustainable solutions and continuous improvement.                                                                                      
4. Collaboration with customers and end-users: We will actively collaborate with our customers and end-users to understand their needs and desires for more environmentally friendly products and solutions. Through dialogue and partnership, we will deliver products and services that meet their expectations for sustainability and environmental friendliness. This environmental policy will form the basis for our daily decisions and actions. We are committed to striving for continuous improvement of our environmental performance and to comply with applicable legislation. We will be a positive force for sustainability within our industry and supply chain, in close collaboration with our customers and end-users.
