New Product: AISI321 1.4541 & AISI316Ti 1.4571 Flanges
Our latest stainless, acid-resistant flanges are now available for delivery – tailored to meet the demands of challenging industrial environments.
EN 1092-1 Flanges in Acid-Resistant and Heat-Resistant Steel Grades
We are pleased to introduce the newest addition to our range: flanges in the heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials AISI321 1.4541 and AISI316Ti 1.4571. These are ideal for use in industrial, marine, and pharmaceutical environments.
AISI321 1.4541 is a stainless steel with added titanium, which makes it resistant to corrosion at high temperatures. It is well-suited for applications such as heat exchangers, chemical plants, and piping systems exposed to thermal stress.
AISI316Ti 1.4571 is an advanced version of AISI316, with titanium added to increase strength at high temperatures. This provides the material with excellent corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for use in marine environments, the food industry, and the pharmaceutical sector.

When to Choose Which Steel Grade?
AISI 304L 1.4307 – The reliable and safe solution for general use
- Select this when you require a versatile stainless steel grade in non-aggressive environments.
- Typical Applications: Food production, dairy, general steel constructions, tanks for water and neutral liquids.
- Advantages: Easily available, cost-effective, and good weldability.
AISI 316L 1.4404 – Resistant to chlorides and chemicals
- Choose this when there is a risk of corrosion from, for example, seawater, cleaning agents, or chemicals.
- Typical Applications: Offshore, marine installations, pharmaceutical facilities, heat exchangers in chloride-rich environments.
- Advantages: Very high corrosion resistance, low risk of stress corrosion cracking.

AISI 321 1.4541 – Heat and corrosion resistant
- Select this when the steel needs to withstand prolonged heat exposure.
- Typical Applications: Flue gas ducts, exhaust pipes, heat exchangers in power plants and industrial plants.
- Advantages: Titanium prevents corrosion in weld seams during welding and high operating temperatures.

AISI 316Ti 1.4571 – Heat and chemical resistant
- Choose this when both high temperatures and chemical exposure are present in the same system.
- Typical Applications: Pressure-bearing systems, heat exchangers, and process equipment with hot water, chemicals, or steam.
- Advantages: A robust solution when both temperature and media demand extra durability.
